Pearls have fascinated us for thousands of years. Starting with their mystical origin as the tears of the gods, to the times when they made up the insignia of rulers, to the present day, pearls continue to enamor us.
Each pearl has its own endearing character. Pearls represent refined luxury and prestige; revealing their beauty in a quiet subtle superiority. Here at VanDykhuizen Designs, I capture feminine elegance and focus on the timelessness of pearls in my distinctive designs.
With love and attention, passion and joy, the Van Dykhuizen Designs' individual pearl collections are produced using magnificient natural, multicolored and white freshwater cultured pearls, irridescent white Akoya pearls and Tahitian pearls. Only high luster, G.I.A. AA grade and higher quality pearls are used in my jewelry unless otherwise specified. The Nacre will be medium to thick; unblemished to lightly blemished; In shape, freshwater pearls - slight off round/round. The color in White Akoya pearls will be white in body color with light pink, gray overtone and they will be all to mostly round.
Strung with fine silk and finished with unique clasps of gold, I hope the irresistible beauty of these pearls will be enjoyed for generations. |
